Cornell’s Center for Technology Enterprise and Commercialization has come up with a new online social network for Cornellians in science and technology. Cornellboration aims to create four free industry-specific portals to facilitate business and academic collaborations among Cornell students, faculty, researchers, and alumni.

Cornell BioPharma Network is the first portal to go live. It's targeted at the biopharmaceuticals and life sciences industries. Cornell NanoMat Network, focusing on nanotechnology, materials, and other physical sciences, will launch in the fall. Sites devoted to telecommunications and information technologies, and engineering and semiconductors will follow.

Members are encouraged to use the online forums to learn, network, converse, post information, and, of course, blog.
