Cornell is one of the country’s top ten grad schools for landing a gig on Wall Street. So says Advanced Trading magazine, which rates Cornell’s Master in Financial Engineering as one of the best for quantitative analysts—known as “quants” in the trade.

The article cited the program’s “recruitability,” stemming from its internship and research outpost at 55 Broad Street, in the heart of the Financial District. Quants are in increasingly high demand on the Street for wrangling complex algorithms and computer technology and finance theory too. (Slide-rule users need not apply.)
