Speaking to an audience of New York City real estate professionals, President David Skorton emphasized the wide-ranging growth potential of the new applied sciences campus on Roosevelt Island. "The real estate impact will go well beyond the 2 million square feet," said Skorton, referring to the planned size of the campus in his keynote address at a conference presented by Crain's magazine. He predicted that businesses would spring up all along the "F Train tech corridor" that serves the new campus.
