Star Light, Star Bright

Every clear Friday night during the semester, the Cornell Astronomical Society hosts public viewings at Fuertes Observatory on North Campus from 8 p.m. to midnight. The domed building—named after Estevan Antonio Fuertes, Cornell’s first professor of civil engineering—and its twelve-inch refracting telescope date from the Twenties.
