Happy trails: Ithaca's gorges got a bit safer this summer, as the first team of “gorge stewards” went on duty. The three stewards, all alumni working for Cornell Outdoor Education, walked the trails wearing identifying T-shirts. They offered information about hiking, natural history, safety, and alternatives to dangerous (and illegal) gorge swimming.
