At the 110th Dragon Day in March, the eponymous beast was an aesthetic departure from years past. Made of cool gray steel, the minimalist dragon was suspended from four towers connected to a frame mounted to the chassis of a Volkswagen Microbus. Accompanied by first-year architecture students, it swayed its way across campus to face the engineers’ traditional phoenix.
